passenger side air bag warning light always on

Great Looks, terrible vehicle!! Passenger Side Air Bag light is always on. Scary situation since I purchased the Hummer after crashing my previous vehicle where the air bags saved my life!! Read that GM is aware of the defect but refuses to do anything about it. Too many other defects to mention. Love my H3 but I am getting afraid to drive it with this life threatening defect. GM, step up to the plate and admit the issue and correct it before someone gets killed, if they haven't been already. I will not sacrifice looks for safety on this one. Very disappointed. Do not buy these used !!!!
