The contact owns a 2007 Hummer H3. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the hood louvers loosened without warning. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 10V179000 (Structure) which he linked to the failure. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed that the vehicle was already serviced prior under recall. The contact was provided an estimate for the repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.

The contact owns a 2007 Hummer H3. The contacts husband stated that the distance between the brake and accelerator pedals is too narrow and his shoes get stuck in the space. The contact spoke with the dealer and they stated that they were aware of the failure. The current mileage was 200 and failure mileage was 149. Updated 02-01-08 the consumer stated she has located the defect. The consumer stated the defect was the carpet that was interfering with the brake, so problem solved. Updated 02/01/08
