My son was driving a 2007 Hummer H3 and didn't know it was on fire until he got out. He didn't smell anything. He decided to stop at a shopping center to get something to eat and everyone was pointing at his car. It had smoke and fire coming out of the bottom. He called 911 and the local fire department got to him in 3-4 minutes. It was an electrical fire that started on the passenger side of the car.

The Hummer was totaled out and I lost a lot of money. I had taken extremely good care of it and it had very low mileage, 64,000. Needless to say you don't get a lot from your car when it is totaled out. I called General Motors and they said they can't do anything about it. I bought the Hummer new in 2007 and had approximately $43,000 in it.
