The wonderful 2007 Hummer H3. This vehicle started having an engine light problem at 55,000 miles. Diagnostic code reader spit out code# 0300 Engine Misfire. One source says change/check spark plugs for foul or incorrect gap, another say swap the coil packs around to see if the misfire moves around (dealership did it after I did and found not problems with Coils). Another source says change the camshaft position sensor, another source say change the computer, another source say check engine compression, another source say check the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel pump. Yet another source says to change the Crankshaft position sensor. Another source say. Another source says to have the fuel injectors cleaned. The last ridiculous source says get your BCM Body Control Module re-flashed to fix. WOW what is the correct fix? Anyone? Hello? Anyone?

The GM Dealership in Waipahu, HI did a fuel injection cleaning right at 60,000 mile at my request. The vehicle came out running worst and now to add to the check engine light, we now have a bad misfire to the point of near engine stalling. The car ran fine before getting the GM dealer to run the fuel injection cleaning at $130.00. We took it back to report the new stalling issue after they did the fuel service and they charged my wife an additional $420.00 to tell her the vehicle needs a $2500 head job. at 59,989 miles should be a Manufacturing issue and cover poor material. I will be seeking class action law suite on this one. Warranty or not, equipment under strict service intervals and current on all services should not fail with low mileage.
