Third brake light recall- the third brake light on 2007 Hummer H3 lights up halfway and was purchased in September 2016. The third brake light worked then and is 60,124K miles on it. I went to have it inspected and they told me it failed due to the third brake light being only half lit up. I have done extensive research and I have come to find that it is a common problem among Hummer in general. I feel that this need to be fixed by General Motors due to there fault. This is a safety issue! I should not have to shell out, nor should anyone else $200 for a light that is defective.

Started out right rear blinker. Grew to both rear blinkers. Then to all systems worked while brakes applied, then to rear blinker fuse blows when brakes applied. The bulbs were changed but not damaged, diagnosis is body control module. This is a recurring problem with this SUV and is a serious safety hazard to have brake light failure and blinker failure. Should be recalled.
