The contact owns a 2005 Hyundai Accent. The contact placed an item under the driver seat and unintentionally disconnected the air bag wire. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the dealer reconnected the air bag wires. The manufacturer advised the contact that she should not place any items under the drivers seat and would not reimburse her for the repair costs. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 60,000 and the current mileage was 61,708.

: the contact stated while passing another vehicle at 70 mph the front driver's side tire bounced, causing the vehicle to go off the roadway and hit a gravel. The vehicle then hit an embankment head on and flipped three times, and the frontal airbags did not deploy. The driver was wearing a seat belt and sustained injuries. A police report was filed at the scene, and pictures were available. The vehicle was towed to an independent repair shop and was awaiting inspection. The insurance Agency deemed the vehicle totaled. The fire department had to cut the wires under the hood due to the fact they could not get the car to shut off.
