I have a 2008 Hyundai Accent with 16" tires on it. The manufacture put kumo tire on it and they showed wear just @ 23000 km.they replaced with a different kind of kumo tires and at 17000 km they are done again. Hyundai tell me there is nothing wrong with car and to change to a different brand. Is there a problem with the tire or car.

The contact owns a 2008 Hyundai Accent. The vehicle has kumho tires, size 205/45/R16 (na). While inspecting the tire, the contact noticed an abnormal blister in the sidewall of the driver's side front tire. She took the vehicle to a local tire repair shop and was informed that the tire was unsafe. The tire had to be replaced at the cost of more than $100. The technician also added that the tire still had significant tread wear. She called the manufacturer, but has not received a response. The failure and current mileages were 4,509.
