This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Hyundai dealer.
All 4 coils have went bad within an 18 month time frame. It had been in the shop constantly which is ridiculous on this new of a car. It is unreliable and dangerous on the road when it hesitates and bucks or acts like it will cut out. The Hyundai dealer that has fixed it said that it is not normal for all 4 to go out so soon.

As it has been stated by another compliant. For the year and miles on this car, it should not have happened yet. One coil was totally black when I removed it, like it was shorting out inside. The other three looked normal, but now hearing about the issue. I am glad that I just when ahead and replaced them all at once.

Coil failure on my 2011 Hyundai Accent again, the third in a year. This is the third time that it has happened and it is no longer under warranty. The vehicle has less than 20k miles on it. It is frustrating to take it in for repair and then have it happen yet again.
