Over the past year and a half or 2 years, the vehicle has periodically stalled at low idle. Usually it happens during these senarios/conditions:

- starting to reverse from park or drive - starting to drive from park - occurs more often after being parked for a while - About an hour or more. Perhaps lo0ng enough for the engine to cool? - I have noticed that it typically happens during the colder months of the year (Sept - April), but it could be related to humidity, as it has stalled on warm days on occasion.

The issue isn't consistent enough to happen every single time one of these senarios/conditions are met, but happens once roughly every other week or so. Enough to be annoying for sure. Typically I just restart the vehicle, rev it once or twice, and everything is fine.

No threat to loss of life has happened yet, as most times it occurs at low speed when starting to drive, and also only seems to occur after being parked for a period of time.

Mentioned this issue in passing at my dealer, but understandably, this would be near impossible to accurately nail down to one particular source, and would take a considerable amount of time and investigation to diagnose.

However, if anyone has had the same issue, or has had success fixing it, I'm all ears.

I bought this car in Dec.2012. There were four incidents where I am driving and it goes dead, all lights work, radio, just no power in the gas pedal! I called roadside assistance three times and they came picked it up, took to dealership, fix something different every time, warrant paid once all of it, twice I paid also besides warranty!

OK, between Dec.2014 when it was done this and was taken in til Jan.22-2015. I was taking my grandson to basketball practice in the eve around 7:00 pm and the car did this for the fourth time. I pulled way off the shoulder, called roadside and my husband, and within 30minutes I am sitting there with my grandson, I look in my rear view mirror and a vehicle was coming up on me fast, he was drunk and hit us! I was injured bad enough I stayed in hospital a week. I still have and I am healing from multiple fractured ribs, broken Breast Platelet, gash in my head, bruised lungs, and I had to be sent home on oxygen!

I will recover slowly but I am in pain and this has flipped my household upside down! Now yes, I had hazard lights on, head lights too, and yes a drunk second offense DWI did hit me, I got that much! But my lemon vehicle, purchased from Hyundai, must have had something wrong, more than ever, not fixed right? Happened four times, stalling while moving? I say if it would have been found out and fixed once right I would have not had this happened to me!

My grandson was lucky, only a mild concussion! I was hurt pretty bad! I still am! I hope no more people have this same problem with this particular car? I almost died but God was with me I know and he saved us! But I am pissed, this lemon car I bought from ya'll almost caused my death! It broke down four times with me and the same problem! That's about it, if the car didn't keep on having this happen I would have never been in this situation!
