I had a problem with my 2014 Hyundai Accent. Was on Nov 29 2020. We had ran some errands and had a birthday dinner with my mother who lives a hr away. We pulled into our driveway and took my items into the house.as I was going in I heard a lot of a car honking. I looked out my window and my car was in flames. 911 was called. Our neighbor has a security camera we watched the video. It showed as we pulled into the driveway. As we were getting out of the car it started glowing underneath the front on the car. Then it just burst into flames. Thank you [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

On 12oct2018 while driving on a highway, I noticed a chemical smell coming from my car. Within seconds, all of the dash lights came on. When I attempted to brake to pull over to the side of the road, I realized that I had no brakes and that flames were coming from the front driver's side of the vehicle. Upon immediately exiting the vehicle, I noticed flames under the vehicle and coming out of the back of the vehicle. My car became totally engulfed and is a total loss. Firefighters were unable to determine the cause of the fire.

I bought my Hyundai around March or April 2015. After about a month I noticed that the ESC was coming on and off. While visiting family in fishers Indiana in August I noticed that not only was the ESC coming but also all the other warning lights I.e. ABS, air bag, parking brake and eps. On August 17 I took my car to the noblesville Hyundai dealer. On the 18th I was told that the problem was a negative component not grounded and was fixed. About 1.5 weeks later the problem returned plus now the low tire pressure warning light was coming on. On the 31st of August I went back to the dealer explaining that the problem had returned. As of September 2 they still have not determined what the problem is. Picked up my car on September 3rd and was told that since they couldn't get the car to act up there was nothing they could do so I took my car. I'll just have to see if and when the problem occurs again then take it straight back to dealer.
