I have a 2016 Hyundai Accent that has the exact same engine as the Hyundai Veloster and Kia Rio and Soul. All the vehicles mentioned have a safety recall.on the engine except the Hyundai Accent. I am having the same issue as the rest, catalytic converter failure and now engine damage. The engine light came on and was told it could be a number of things, things like the O2 sensors which were replaced and worked for little while and then the light back on. Now somehow there is fuel being dumped at an alarming rate, like I have to change my oil every 30 miles or oil thins out because of the fuel in the oil. Now Hyundai is refusing to help me because I now have 131,000 on my car and it wasn't put on the recall, with the same engine as other cars.
