Bodyguard corrosion protection device was installed by cutter of maui at time of purchase. Hyndai examined the car and said that the bodyguard device had caused the fire. Cutter maintained that it didn't cause the fire, but a few weeks after the fire, I received a letter from cutter indicating that engine compartment fires had occurred on vehicles having the bodyguard device installed and that they would install a fuse to prevent the fires. When buyeri returned to cutter with the letter, they tried to take it back from buyer, claiming that bodyguard did not cause the fire.buyer.
