problem #2

Nov 172018

Elantra GT

  • Automatic transmission
  • 168,000 miles

Driver side rear taillight doesn't light up when the headlights are turned on. Only when the brake is pressed. The passenger side works just fine. I've replaced the bulbs and checked fuses.

EACH TIME I USE TURN SIGNAL(S) WHILE HEAD LIGHTS ARE ON IT CAUSES THE HEADLIGHTS/DASH LIGHTS TO BLINK OUT, OR IF I BUMP THE SECTION THE RADIO IS IN IT ALSO EITHER GOES OUT OR COMES ON, AND THE RADIO HAS QUIT COMPLETELY..

I CONTACTED HYUNDAI THEY SAID NO RECALL, I CONTACTED MY LOCAL DEALER THEY WANT $89.95 TO RUN A DIAGNOSTIC ON IT, CONCERNED IT MAY CATCH FIRE
