The contact owns a 2008 Hyundai Elantra with kumho solus (na) P195/65/R15 tires. The contact stated the two front tires were deteriorating. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer for a follow up appointment and was told they would last a little longer, but the tires would need to be replaced soon. The contact was concerned because the tires only have 30,000 miles on them. Updated 8/29/11 updated 09/21/11

On Sept. 6th, 2009 I rent a car in las vegas, nv from advantage rental car co. When I was driving alone I-15 to la, driver side front tire was blow out. There was smoke from left side and pieces of failed tire were all over the place. It damaged frond bumper and right side mirror. The car almost out of control, I might get killed by that. I called 911 and aaa got the rental car towed back to las vegas and asked rental car company to check if there some defects of its tire in order to protect other drivers. I told them I would pay for professional investigation, but later on advantage rental car co. Told me that tire was disposed. That caris 2008 Hyundai Elantra SE. On Sep. 21st, when I called rental car company, one of its manager told me the tire is kumho tire. Later on I was told the tire is hanover and model is optima. Anyhow, frankly speaking, I have no idea who is tell me the truth.
