I was in a 40 mph head-on impact with guardrail - no airbag deployed. Not only is my car one of the 300,000 elantras that should've been recalled, when I opened a complaint with Hyundai they basically said "F*** off!"
DO NOT EVER BUY ONE OF THESE PIECES OF JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter was involved in a 3 way car crash. She was stopped at a stop sign. The Elantra was hit by a large Toyota suv Sequoia going 80 kms per hour on the front left of vehicle. The Elantra was knocked twenty feet back and was declared a write off. AIR BAGS did not deploy!!
Front passengers both suffered minor injuries. Non driver hit head against windshield causing it to crack. By the look of the car the air bags should have gone off.
