This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Hyundai dealer.
The paint is peeling in multiple places. Places where it did not chip it just separated from the metal.
The hood. The trunk. Around the windshield. And the roof is bubbling and separated and will soon chip.
It gets worse all the time. I cannot take it to a car wash or it will blow the paint of where it had peeled but even when I wash it by hand it still peels more and more ever time. Hyundai says they cannot and will not do anything about it.

The paint started bubbling before I even made my last payment on the car. The car is 4 years old. This is more than annoying and should have been covered. The class action lawsuit was dismissed.. I wonder how much the judge was paid off.

About a year after having the Hyundai Elantra, I indicated the chipping at both back door panels. The paint completely chipping off and thus starting to rust (keep in mind the car was Simonized). This first time, they covered under warranty and completely repainted the doors. That was helpful until about 1.5 years later (see separate complaint) where the exact same thing happened. I took it to another body shop I used in the past and the person noted that there is no chip guard on the car as it is on most vehicles -- Chevy, etc. to protect the paints from stones flying on ALL roads. The car is never on a "chipped" or "stoned" road. He said during this first fix to protect the paint and a repeat problem they should have put a chip guard on. He looked up the cost of a chip guard strip from Hyundai and was SHOCKED to see they don't make one. So, if I choose to have fixed, he would retrofit from another car name brand. The estimate about $1,000. See my next rant regarding the repeat issue and Hyundai's lack of acknowledgment to the problem of it's car's integrity.

My 2013 Hyundai Elantra's paint is peeling on the hood! It keeps getting worse over time. I don't feel this should be happening on this year model car.

Paint has begun flaking off my car. It is only a 3 year old car and I feel like I can't even take it to get a car wash because all of the paint will be removed. We had a auto body place tell us that this is a big problem with Hyundai Elantra's paint jobs but our dealership would not do anything about it. How can we get included in the class action suit that is being brought against Hyundai?

I previously had fixed and addressed same issue with Hyundai again. It actually started reoccurring about 1.5 years after the last time it was fixed, but for various reasons only addressed again yesterday. Hyundai has refused to repair again. The real solution from other body shops (I addressed more than one about this issue) is that the problem areas should be sanded down (as a result of the rust from the paint chipping off even after being reSimonized) and chip guards added to those areas. Hyundai should have come up with that solution the last time I was in there for the fix under warranty -- they didn't because Hyundai does not MAKE a chip guard for that area. Even though if you go to other makes of cars like Toyota, Subaru, etc., they incorporate it as part of the new car! Stupidity beyond belief. The body shops have indicated they will take another make and fit it but Hyundai refuses to pay again b/c of their ignorancy. I cannot be the only one having this issue. I handed the car off to my teenage daughter and bought myself a different brand of vehicle because at this point, I could care less what happens to that piece of junk. Never again if they don't know how to fix their issues! I had other door assembly problems they couldn't fix either and then had my husband end up fixing it properly.

Love my car but the paint is now peeling off of it like crazy. It started on the front of roof and is now peeling in many other spots.
