Bought this Elantra new for my daughter. After about a year she told me the TPMS light was on. I checked all tire pressures and they were OK. I am an auto tech so have access to scanners. Checked for codes and there were about 5 very strange codes.(none simply stating low tire pressure at a certain tire). The codes were all communication codes. Finally took to the dealer and was told they could find no problem and said the system was probably receiving stray signals from antennas such as police stations or airports! The light is ON now more than it's OFF. This is dangerous because my daughter basically ignores this important light now. Low tire pressure will cause a tire blowout at highway speed and cause an accident.
