While driving into work yesterday I noticed my right blinker remained lit on my dashboard...and when I used it, it blinked very quickly. When I got to work I checked my lights and blinkers and none of my front passenger side lights were working - none, not the fog, blinker, low beams, high beams - none. Strange. When I got home my husband took a look - checked fuses, pulled out the light bulbs and checked them, checked connections - couldn't fix. So he put the lights back in, closed her up and we figured I'd just be a purdiddle (car with only one head-light) for a while until we could figure out what was wrong. We went to go grab dinner and the car wouldn't start at all. She was completely dead. All the dashboard lights came on and there were some sounds, but it was dead. Checked the battery, it was charged - tried to jump - nothing. Then this morning when my husband opened the car door to get something out of the car, the anti-theft horn-blowing thing happened and he couldn't get it to stop, so he unhooked it. Then the car dash just went crazy and all kinds of clicking noises started happening. She was lit up like a Christmas tree so he unhooked the battery. Now we are waiting to take it to the dealership to get looked at. No idea how much it will cost to fix, but just for them to look at it is costing $150.
