When ever I turn the car on either side I hear a rubbing sound. Sounds like plastic parts are rubbing against each other. On researching online, it looks like it is a steering (MDPS) bearing worn out. I see a technical service bulletin for new vehicles but not 2013 Elantra. Apparently this is fairly common issue. Hyundai does not sell a bearing alone for 2013 model. They sell entire steering column assembly.

This rubbing sound is getting worse and I fear if steering would freeze while driving.
