The car had just coded for a 4th piston misfire at 98K, we did a tune-up and the brake recall service at Hyundai. Just received the car back and my daughter was driving the car to school, I was following her, the car froze at 40 mph, no response to brake or gas, then the car drove normally. We put the car in the local shop, they drove it 15 miles, I said drive it more and drive it longer, they put another 35 miles on the car, still handed me the keys back stating they can't find anything wrong....all they did was drive, didn't even hook it up in the shop! Then had the car towed to the next town, they drove it for roughly 300 miles over the course of a month! Still can't find anything abnormal with the car. The car now has just over 100k on it.

The car previous to this freezing hazard glitches ALL the time with a forward hesitation motion at 35-40 mph, which can't seem to be fixed, or noted by a mechanic. I know something is going bad on the car, just waiting for a crash and hopefully my daughter isn't hurt.

The Hyundai Elantra GLS is a total lawsuit car! Hate the car with a passion
