This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Hyundai dealer.
Bought the car new in January 2014. 32,000km both wheel bearings were finished. This was covered by the guarantee but this is no excuse for wheel bearings to f8ck up in 32,000 km!

I am on my 4th front driver wheel bearing and third on the passenger side. 160,000 miles, but my Civic went 275,000 miles on the original front wheel bearings. Not the Michigan roads. Stabilizer bar link failures also. Now caliper guide pins are siezed, one of the two on each side.

Replaced all 4 tires 13 months ago. Noticed grinding when I brake about a week ago. Took it in for as "look see". Mechanic said the front wheel bearings are shot, the brakes are shot (pads and rotors). He advised me that the bearings should not be bad on less than 50K miles should be closer to 100K. He said the hub is most likely shot too but could not tell with out taking the bearing off. He said I should take it to a dealer and they should do the bearings under the warranty. All tires need to be replaced.

14000kms on a new Elantra. Took the car to Canadian Tire and felt a shuddering from the front end. Grabbed the wheel and had almost 1/4 inch of play in the bearing... towed and covered under warranty

Car has 23k miles on it and the LF wheel bearing failed. The LF wheel could be moved almost 1/2" - this was pretty bad, especially for a car with such low mileage.

Had to take a few hours out of a business day (I had driven about 600 miles to where I had business for 10 days) and when I could spare a few hours, had to take it to a local dealer where I was in Tucson. Was fixed, but the following day I was driving back the 600 miles to NorCal and it seems that something in that specific area had an issue. Since I was driving on the highway, with the windows up and the radio on, I didn't hear the issue, until after I had gotten back and was driving locally with the window down. I heard a rubbing of metal on metal. I drove 60 miles N to Chico to have a dealer up there look at it. It seems a piece of metal in the area of the wheel bearings had come loose and was scoring the rotor. It was recommended to replace the rotors and the brakes!.... I asked them if they felt the issue was related to the work done with the bearing replacement, and they said yes. I contacted Hyundai Customer Service and they were useless, as they said that they would not contact the Tucson dealership as they normally don't do that (which I found out is really not the case), so Hyundai Customer Support is USELESS. I decided to have a more local mechanic look at the rotors and brakes - the brakes were fine and the rotor, though scored, he didn't think it had to be turned down or replaced.
So far, with this vehicle, I have had the following issues - and it was bought brand new in Oct 2013: 1.) Tire had an issue and had to be replaced (my expense) 2.) Bearing issue, left front - under warranty 3.) Work on above seems to have caused issue with rotor 4.) Had the above looked at by a non-dealership mechanic (my expense) 5.) All 3 original tires had to be replaced after about 32,000 miles
