I started having problems with the ac blowing hot air. When turning it on after some minutes it would blow hot air. At times it would work just fine but some days it would just blow hot air. After going on a trip from Las Vegas to Los Angeles on the way back to Vegas it stopped blowing cold air completely. I thought maybe since it was still summer time and really hot it was just acting up. After some days from being back in town it wouldn't blow cold air anymore. I then took it to Hyundai dealership to get it checked and hopefully fixed.

I was told that the compressor went bad and they replaced it. I thought the problem was fixed but since winter was around the corner I never got the chance to fully test it to see if that was the actual problem. The following year when it started getting hot around April the air would feel as cold as it did before. I had the oil changed and filters. That didn't make it any better. After some weeks it started doing the same thing as before so I knew it couldn't have been the compressor as it wasn't close to a year since being replaced. I had coolant changed and that didn't help. After the summer came it got worse as it started blowing hot air after several minutes of turning the ac on.

I took it back to the dealership to get it checked and they told me they didn't find any problems. Before leaving guy comes up to my car and took off the cabin filter and said that was the issue supposedly because it was dirty and not letting a lot of air to go through. I laughed because right after he took it off the air was blowing twice as hard but was still warm and not cold air. He didn't even replace my filter - he said I didn't need it. After some weeks my car started having problems as the temperature from engine would go up after driving for 30+ min. It would start to heat up a lil and eventually got worse and they never did anything about it and my radiator ended up giving up completely.
