BRAKES ON THE HYUNDAI ELANTA ARE VERY INCONSISTENTLY DANGEROUS AND SCARY. I HAVE HAD OVER 10 INCIDENTS WHEN I THE BRAKES PRESSURE GAVE OUT IF I HIT A POT HOLE OR AND UNEVEN SURFACE.

DETAILS: IF IM DRIVING FORWARD, I SEE A POT HOLE OR PUDDLE, I APPLY AN ADEQUEATE AMOUNT OF PRESSURE TO THE BRAKES TO AVOID A HARD IMPACT, THE BRAKES WILL LOOSE ALL PRESSURE BECAUSE THE TIRES ARE NOT EVEN ON THE ROAD (THATS WHAT THE DEALERSHIP MECHANIC TOLD ME ONCE I SENT IT IN FOR REPAIRS, TWICE). IN TURN, I THE CAR EXCEL FWD, HITTING THE POTHOLE AND BRAKES WITHOUT SLOWING DOWN AT ALL. THEN I FRANTICALLY HAVE TO KEEP HITTING THE BRAKES TO SLOW THE CAR DOWN.

I ONCE HAD TO THROW THE CAR IN PARK TO STOP.
