Elantra

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,050 miles

I had driven this car to work and parked it. I turned the car off. The car has the push button on/off. I opened the car door and the car battery should have shut off, but it didn't. I turned the car back on and off again, this time without a problem.

This is a brand new car purchased on 4/10/17 and already it had problems like twice not shutting off.

Brought it to Hyundai dealership and it was there for 2 1/2 hours and they couldn't find anything.

Previously had 2013 Elantra with no problems. That's why I bought the Hyundai again after my car was totaled in a car accident (driver went through red light).

If there is a problem with the engine not shutting off it must be disclosed.
