Elantra

  • Automatic transmission
  • 74,565 miles

While I was driving, especially around corners, the car would suddenly stop accelerating and all of the dash lights would turn on. I would try to coast off of the road but I usually got stopped on the road. His was very dangerous when it happened in a roundabout! I'd have to put the car into park, turn it off, then turn it on again to get it working. After this happened a few times I noticed that the car was sounding rough. It ended up needing oil even though it was way before the scheduled oil change time.

I don't know if I have the time or energy to deal with this. 6 times this car has been in the shop for this same issue. Will add the rest later.
