There seems to be a common problem with IVT for 2020 hyundai and up. I have a 2022 Hyundai Elantra. I noticed the problem and took my car to the dealership. I was told to replace the IVT due to an oil leak. However, I had taken my car to the dealership about an oil leak not too long before the IVT issue and was advised there was no oil leak. I have been reading others complaints for the same IVT issue and there has yet to be a recall. The total cost I was quoted was $6,902. I am still making payments on this car and its only worth 12,000 currently. I have not been able to get the car fixed so its been sitting in my driveway.
