When we first got the van both sliding doors were working. Soon after the driver side passenger door started to act up. It would intermittently work. Sometimes it wouldn't open with the power button or sometimes it wouldn't close. The passenger side sliding door acts up when it's really hot out. Otherwise it's fine. We have since have been just opening and closing the doors manually, but the drivers side door still gives us issues. We have to fight with it to close. On one occasion when the doors were not locked, that door opened while driving. Thankfully my children were not in the car at the time! As long as it's locked we have not had that happen again. It is just super annoying! I like using the power button lol!

all sensors in doors & trunk are going bonkers! wire short?

Car was hit by deer in front panel of van. The door sensors did not begin malfunctioning right away, and when it did, I felt it was just a "fluke." It has reached the point that every time you get in the car, the ding dings will drive you insane. I have to run the Radio or CD extremely loud to get 6 mi. down the road. Now the rear trunk latch broke, so I have that sensor going off! I looked at the paper work from the deer accident; no where does it say "opened up dashboard to check sensors." My auto key lock no longer works; it must be a sensor! Dealership wants to charge $1,800 to fix; I cannot afford that. I still owe $9,000 or I'd get rid of it! Had my Ford Explorer 14 years when I traded it in on the Entourage. Maybe I made a mistake...
