After getting my car diagnosed at a certified Hyundai dealer, a leak was found in the driver side air strut and it was recommend to replace the other side as well. All at a cost of 4,103.96 us dollars which I thought was totally ridiculous. The cost of each strut alone is 1,700.00 for a car with just under 130,000 miles on it. This should not be happening.
After contacting Hyundai customer care, I was given a case number 11643258 in reference to getting some assistance in helping getting the issue resolved. In a few days customer care contacted me back with a denial based on a past warranty and said there was nothing they could do which I thought was ridiculous again considering the fact that I have a 2014 Equus. As a customer, Hyundai is not willing to take into consideration and stand by any of its motto customer satisfaction to help in this situation. If they would've indicated that they would pay for the parts and I pay for the labor I would've been satisfied. At this point, I will follow up this complaint with letters to Hyundai USA and the department of transportation.
