I have a problem when something that is obviously a manufacturer defect, and the company will not pay for it to be fixed since it was a original painting problem. I was advise by a professional Paint and Body shop that this was a mistake when they first painted my car and it happened when a special type coat is not applied to plastic before painting it. Hopefully since I contacted the company they will come through and have it repainted,

My white Hyundai Genesis has significant yellow spotting on the front bumper. It is not immediately obvious without looking at the bumper for the problem, but upon a close look, it is very ugly.
I am not sure what is causing the spotting, but it is not on the surface. I have attempted a clay bar treatment and other polishing to see if it would go away, however, nothing has worked.

Only had the vehicle for six months, but over the last month or two I have noticed the entire front bumper piece is now yellow, with yellow/brown spots forming under the paint and cc. Cost is $600 to repaint, but I don't think I should have to pay for a manufacturer defect in the paint.
