The contact stated that the fuel gauge displayed that the fuel tank was full, with 200-300 miles to empty. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 118,806.
