The Hyundai Genesis coupe 2011 was involved in an accident on the highway and the airbags did not deploy during the crash. Hyundai inspected the car and denied any responsibility.

My wife was hit from the rear and pushed into a tree dead center. The air bag did not inflate. She received 4 broken ribs and a broken chest bone she was making a U turn and the other car was speeding and hit her in the rear and pushed her 100 feet across the street into a tree.....updated 10/19/15

Genesis Coupe

The contact owns a 2011 Hyundai Genesis coupe. The contact stated that while driving at an unknown speed, the contact crashed head on into a tree. The air bags failed to deploy. A police report was filed. The contact sustained fractures to the sternum, a brain hemorrhage, and whiplash. The vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was 45,000.
