The paint is easily chipping. I have over 20 chips in the hood. It seems excessive, but I could be wrong. I purchased the vehicle in Kensington, MD while I was living in Northern Virginia. For the 7 years of ownership, 6 of those years the vehicle has been garage kept. At time of posting, vehicle has 57,200 miles. From the pics I've shared, you don't really notice the chipping, but up close, it's frustrating to see.

2013 Gensis Coupe paint started flacking off at about 50000 miles. It is a 35000.00 dollar car and the paint flails at like that. Wont buy another Hyundai. They don't stand by there cars.

This car has been garaged and waxed and taken excellent care of. I took it to paint & body shop and they said the clear coat of the car is failing and it's a manufacturer problem. The car looks great except the back bumper is yellowing and the clear coat is peeling off.

I noticed about a year ago a yellowish color on the rear bumper about a year ago and a few months ago it started peeling. The vehicle has never been in an accident and I park it in my carport at home so its not out in the sun very much.

My daughter purchased a 2013 Genesis Coupe that was over 30,000 dollars. Now the bumper is peeling and looks horrible. I saw one driving down the road and it was just like my daughters. How can it be the same problem and same color and it not be a Hyundai issue? I think that there should be a re-call.

I tried to get Hyundai to fix it but they told me the warranty only covers paint for 30k miles. I was like wow you really have faith in your product.
