Issue occurred when auto transmission changed down gears. Engine revved up to 5000 rpm. Car held by Hyundai after they drove with me and experienced issue. Car also very slow off the mark and jumping gears. Finally, hyundai acknowledged problem with actuator. They replaced actuator and over revving reduced to what they call acceptable levels. Engine stills revs to 3500 rpm when slowing, especially when travelling down hill. Covered under warranty. Acceleration still slow on take off, even if you press accelerator firmly, nothing happens for several seconds. Gear changes are jerky and they say it is within parameters. Screen for phone/Bluetooth intermittently does nor accept touch. I have to restart to get it to engage.

Hyundaivsaid actuator is very sensitive and was out by a couple of millimetres. They could not adjust it any further for the old one. They claim it is now within acceptable range.

No comment as yet as to problem with radio/Bluetooth issue. I have to drop it in again for check. Actuator and Bluetooth issues are/were both intermittent.

Car was purchased late last year. My wife would not drive it until it was fixed. It was with hyudani for approximately 3-4 weeks from 1500 km to 1700 km on odometer reading.

Hyundai claim revving is acceptable because the dual transmission has to go down through gears, hence the revving. When I brake hard, no revving, whereas, slow unbraced speed reduction causes heavy revving.
