Unable for many time to get recall complete old recall was told not complete and now that i have an issue they are telling me it was done trans clutch. My car has been at the dealer for three months. It is at lafontaine hyuandi dearborn mi. The part i need to fix my engine /clutch has an indefinite date when it will be available. I had this same problem when my car was less than a year old with the drive shaft. I have been in contact with corporate Hyundai and the dealer we cannot get a hold of sometimes for a whole week. These engine problems have been a huge issue with Hyundai. The engine will suddenly slow down to 20s being a hazard risk. Dealers when i have tried to get recall wont do recall they say they only have one person who can do it. I have had recalls scheduled months out and then they cancel. The problem i am having directly relates to a closed recall per multiple mechanics. The recall caused oil to leak which is what dealer said happened. Please help!!

As I was driving home from work, my vehicle jerked a couple of times and was speeding up and slowing down by itself. As I was driving the check engine light appeared and did not go away at all. Although, my car was accelerating and slowing down by itself, it was struggling to go past 20mph. When I got home and parked my car, I was unable to reverse my car, even though it was in reverse. Luckily, there was no one behind me or in front of me or else I'm sure there would've been a crash. On top of this, the car has only 1700miles on it and was barely 3months old and this problem appeared, I'm super disappointed and the company hasn't even told me what was wrong with the car yet.
