fuel pump leak fuel pump leak fuel pump leak fuel pump leak fuel pump leak

One morning I smelled gas outside my car and discovered a huge puddle of gasoline under my car and noticed fuel still dripping down from the fuel tank. I had the car towed to the mechanic and they discovered a crack in the plastic fuel pump's mounting flange. The car was not in a collision and there was no external force that caused the fuel pump to crack. They had to replace the fuel pump.
