Since purchase in March 2020, this irritating chatter seems to be getting worse. It's obviously rotational and the clicking sound slows as the car slows. It's constant but more noticeable during deceleration, either with regeneration or in a neutral coast. On my first and only visit to dealer so far, the only EV tech in our state said he found some background about possible reduction gear problems however labeled the problem as "normal characteristic of vehicle" while admitting this was only the 2nd Kona EV he'd seen so I'm not sure how he could claim it's normal. The reduction gear discussion is common on numerous car blogs but I've not heard of any clear-cut solution.
