Soon after performing the 60k transmission fluid flush and refill, my 2020 Palisade began experiencing rough shifting from gears 3 to 4 and 4 to 5. As the problem got worse, the transmission was incapable of holding the 8th gear at highway speeds. It would shift up and then, a few seconds later, fall back down to 7. The dealership techs found that the new transmission fluid had turned brown after only 3000 miles. My warranty had expired just 2500 miles before I brought it for inspection. Hyundai offered a goodwill replacement for the transmission, so it cost me just $300.
