My husband is driving throughout a neighborhood going 20 mph. There are no other cars on the road yet the forward collision sensor keeps going off. And it is relentless.

Someone backed into my car. Was sent to dealership to have repairs done. Afterwards I had to take it back to dealership because front collision sensor light showed. Took it back to dealership. They said it was finally fixed after keeping it for close to a month. Here’s where the problem starts. Randomly the sponsor light and dings goes off and it rings relentlessly. Sunny day? Clean car? Parked at light? Driving? Sitting at dealership parking lot? Sitting in my garage before driving? Turn off all sensors before driving? These are some of the many occasions this occurs. Yet the dealership “cannot duplicate the problem “ so as to diagnose and fix. Even though it happened JUST BEFORE DRIVING INTO THE SERVICE LOT AT DEALERSHIP.
Now because of this incident I’m told that this is no longer under warranty (even though I have 17 months left on my lease). Also told that every time I turn off the car, all sensors are reset and is no longer logged in there data base. So now I have to endure random bells, rings, and lights turning on for the next YEAR AND HALF.
