drive belt failure

My wife and I followed the guides and had the drive belt replaced three times during five years we paid off the car (new car purchase). With just three months to go, drive belt failure resulted in complete loss of engine (engine block fused) and a total loss with more than $7000 to replace entire engine. Since we did not purchase an extended warrantee that covered faulty belts, the loss was not covered by the power train warrantee or our insurance. From our research after the fact, we discovered Hyundai cars and trucks are vulnerable to this defect.
