problem #1

May 232013

Santa Fe SE 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 52,000 miles

The problem is that the Hyundai dealers did not know what the problem was or how to fix it properly. Hyundai corporate was no help either. I just kept on going back to the dealer every 3-4 months to fix it till Hyundai announced they invented a part to fix this complaint. At the 7th visit they replaced the part but did not reprogram the computers. So the problem recurred and they had to pick up the vehicle and repair it again. Then six months roughly after they replaced the part it failed caused the same problem again and has to replace the part. Now I Have a high tranny temp sensor going off on occasion for no reason.

DO NOT BUY OR LEASE THESE CARS, they, in my opinion, are garbage. For the price of these new I would rather buy a Lexus or Toyota.
