omg on a trip away for a long weekend at my home on the white stone bridge, smoke was coming out of steering wheel. panic set in and I was ready to leap from car, put on 4 way flashers which seemed to help problem for short term. when turned off, smoke started again. got home and took out fuse and here I am today with no directional.

afraid car will burn up. don't know what to do.
