Replaced the engine last year, now the transmission is gone. My pockets are empty. I still make payments. How do I get out of this?

I took the vehicle into the garage while I was on holidays down south and they inspected all the brakes and struts and could find nothing wrong. They suggested the transmission control module and/of the speed control module as they had had numerous similar complaints.
