3rd time for this love/hate relationship to be towed off on tow truck and out of our sight again!! Driving along in a 80km zone 3 kids in the car, luckily not towing horses this time! Trying to accelerate and the car complete dies in the middle of the road. Car honking and swerving all around. I restart the car and try again, it has enough guts to get going and pull over at least, but again dies AGAIN! This happens about 3 times. NRMA our and tells me probably fuel pump as they are commonly faulty in there cars (yep ANOTHER common fault to go along with the rear diffs!) Turns out it wasn't fuel pump but faulty hoses that were put in when being built. They were sucking in on them selves and choking the car out.
HYUNDAI HAVE BEEN COMPLETE ARSEHOLES! Took me over a year of constant emails and phone calls being told the manager would get back to me and never would, in regards to the TWO diffs gone, faulty hoses, door replacement x 2 ect.. It ended up taking a phone call to fair trading and we got one year extended warranty... yep that's it! We were pushing for a full recall (or 5year extended warranty as our local Hyundai suggested) as I tow horses often and have young kids in the car, and worry what's going to go in it next!... The breaks?!?!? but they couldn't give a sh*t handed over a year warranty just to shut me up! F U HYUNDAI!!! As some have mentioned to me just sell it, but how do I sell a dodgy car on!? And if I was I'd never get the money for it with the amount of faults it's had! Either way I'm screwed.
