GPS / Navigation in this car is useless unless you like to do alot of site seeing. First time I used the GPS navigation in this car I just wanted to try it out and see how it does. It would have taken me 20 minutes to get to a location 10 minutes away. I tried changing settings in it and try it again. Still very scenic. I then tried it going over the border to Road to the Sun in Montana. It wanted me to take a 150 km detour to get there. Thank goodness I didn't get rid of our old Garmin GPS. I will trust that one any day of the week over this unit in the car. Also being a brand new car and old maps in it? Roads that were built 3 years ago still not on the maps in the car? Find it strange they would try to sell this as a feature.

The voice recognition is very slow, often doesn't understand the command and often brings up the wrong results. I have had this to the dealer 2 times and was told the system is operating normally. I was also told I had the latest software installed and the system was operating as designed. Since my purchase, my wife has begun looking at new vehicles all that have a much more responsive voice recognition system. They include: Nissan Murano, Mercedes (all classes) and the Honda CRV.
Today I heard from a Hyundai representative. They told me the same thing. With technology available today I can't believe they would release a system as slow as this. My hope is that if they really care about customer satisfaction they will look into a software upgrade to improve speed and the voice recognition.
