Similar to some complaints on the 2019 Santa Fe forum, my car is struggling to start. About 2-3 times a week, when starting it for the first time for the day, the car is extremely slow to turn over. We have brought it to the dealership twice now, and since they could not replicate the issue they said they cannot do anything to fix it.

I asked if videotaping the incident would assist, but they want to be able to replicate the issue while the vehicle is also hooked up to their computer in order to identify the problem. While I understand this stance, I do believe further actions could be taken to identify the problem. At this point my only alternative is to live with the problem until the car becomes wholly unreliable (unable to start at all) so that a computer can determine what is actually wrong.

Based on my research, it looks as though cold weather may make the problem worse. Seeing as it is August now, with highs in the 90's, I shudder to think how bad it might get this winter. Will post an update.
