The contact owns a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle lost motive power with the check engine and oil warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that there was 1/3 amount of water in the fuel tank, causing damage to the fuel injector. The dealer informed the contact that the fuel injector needed to be replaced; however, the part was not covered under warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that she had received a copy of the state inspection notice that it had passed for clean fuel from the gas station where she refueled.
