The contact owns a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. The contact stated that the low oil warning light was illuminated, and the vehicle displayed a slight hesitation while shifting gears. The contact took the vehicle for an oil change and there was only a quart of oil in the engine. The certified mechanic informed the contact that the vehicle was consuming an excessive amount of engine oil. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the mechanic found no failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 76,000. The contact stated that the Hyundai dealership required another oil change for the vehicle despite the vehicle recently having one done. The manufacturer will not be covering any costs according to the contact.
