This problem happens almost every time I fuel the car, and has from the beginning. To counteract this, I try to be aware of about how much fuel I need and when this occurs I simply push the nozzle so it is pointed more downward in the tank. I can accomplish this by lifting UP on the end of the nozzle (where you usually hold it) then continuing to fuel. It's annoying, but I can deal with it. My husband finds it more annoying than I do and usually has me fuel the car if that is an option for him.
