Low-Beam Headlights Too Dim

I found the problem - the reflector surfaces were nearly black, possible from burned paint, which absorbed the bulb light instead of directing it. I cleaned them and repainted them and got back the brightness. Needs a chrome or mirror finish paint with high temperature capability.
