Santa Fe Sport Limited 2.0L Turbo

  • Automatic transmission
  • 9,942 miles

My 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0 Turbo which I purchased in June , 2017 hesitates when at intersection and in very slow moving traffic. This has been an ongoing issue since I bought the vehicle in June of 2017. I was also the owner of a 2014 identical vehicle and had no issues at all, the vehicle was a dream to drive and to ride in.

This is very annoying, frustrating and scary as oncoming traffic approaches and car will not rev as it takes 2-3 seconds for the engine to react to the pressing of the accelerator. Took it to dealership and they said unless it happens while they are driving nothing they can do. Was told hesitation is normal and dealership gave me a can of fuel booster to put in the gas tank. Did this but issue still there. I asked if this was happening to other Santa Fe's and was told no, but clearly there is an issue as there are similar complaints.

If this issue is not fixed, Hyundai will lose me as a customer. I will not buy another.

Santa Fe Sport

  • Automatic transmission
  • 26,000 miles

My 2017 Santa Fe Sport has had this problem since the start... loses power after a turn left or right I cannot get enough speed because it lags and almost stalls.

Dealer says they are aware and working on computer update.
